Tri Delta presented Greek Grind at 8:00 p. m. in Pearce Auditorium, located at Brenau University, on March 13, 2013. The show started with no delays and the audience, mostly consisting of students of Brenau University, were ready to see the dances from Greeks.

Zeta Tau Alpha was the first performance and opened the show with dances under the music hits from the late ‘90s early ‘00s such as “Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears and “Bye Bye Bye” by N’Sync.

Next, the girls from Alpha Delta Pi came to the stage under a red light. They started with an intense dance to “Ring the Alarm” by Beyonce and finished with “No Worries” by Lil Wayne.

Next in line were Alpha Chi Omega and Phi Mu. The performance by the girls from Phi Mu became one of the audience’s favorites. A student from Brenau, Maria Perdomo Medina, said after the show, “Even though I was there to support my friends and tennis teammates from Tri Delta, I was really surprised by the performance of the Phi Mu girls. They were amazing.”

Following them, Alpha Gamma Delta and Tri Delta danced to some awesome music hits from the past and entertained the audience with funny performances. The last one on the stage was Tau Sigma dance fraternity. The girls closed the show with the energetic dances to hip-hop music.

In general, the show went on for about an hour and was a huge success. The audience was delighted. At the end everyone wanted to hear the winners’ name. The first place went to the girls from Phi Mu, the second place was taken by Alpha Delta Pi and the girls from Zeta Tau Alpha became third.

The income from tickets sale on the show helped the girls from Tri Delta raise $946,  which will be directed to their philanthropy, St. Jude Children’s Hospitals.
