(Gainesville, Ga) More than two dozen people are hospitalized on November 18 in Utah
Elementary School. Three of the people were hospitalized were students in critical condition. There was
a carbon monoxide leak inside the elementary school on monday morning.
The incident was reported around 10 a.m local time at the Montezuma Creek Elementary
School. After the leak was reported they prompted an evacuation. The San Juan Country District
Superintendent Douglas Wright said that the leak started since before the students arrived for school
that day.
The San Juan County press said that 25 students and adults were send to local hospitals. Bruce
Adams, the Country Commissioner, said that three students were in critical condition and were airlifted
to the hospitals.
The rest of the students were sent home to be reunited with their parents. The School remained
closed for the day as authorities investigate the cause of the leak.
