Last Wednesday, Brenau Tigers soccer team played at their Senior Night game
against Reinhardt University at Allen Creek. Unfortunately, the team did not win the match, but
the appraisal of the class of 2018 made it another victory. The ending score was 3-2 with
Reinhardt taking the win. Brenau dominated the first half of the game; the first goal made by
Jade Echols, and the second goal made by Taylor Bennett.
As the season comes to an end, let’s wish the senior soccer players a job well done, and farewell. Whenever you see the Brenau women’s soccer team, keep encouraging them and wish them well on the rest of the season. Next season will definitely be better.
This is bittersweet for all of us, but for the soccer team, some of the world’s greatest athletes are starting a new chapter in their lives.
