As a student of Brenau University, how can we feel confident that we would not get COVID-19 just by walking on campus? The virus is contracted by too many people who do not know if they have it or not. On the other hand the state of Georgia where Brenau university is located, reaches the number 6 on the list with more cases of coronavirus and carrying over “16,835 deaths” to now. This is the main reason why Brenau University makes every possible requirement to avoid anyone to get infected.

What Students Really Think About Graduation
On March 30, 2020 the Brenau Office of Academic Affairs announced that there will be a commencement ceremony for the senior class. Once the Brenau campus is allowed to re-open there will be commencement ceremony, which could be around May or June. This means for seniors they will no longer have to wait until August- the estimated date for graduation- for the biggest moment of their college career.
