(Gainesville, GA) – A wintery mess has been spotted over the northern part of the southeast. Late Wednesday evening the weather man on the television broadcasted that there was to be a wintery mix of snow and sleet over the southeast until early Saturday morning.
This weather has put a stop to schools being in session and colleges proceeding with classes. Brenau University will be closing at noon because of the weather and the layer of ice that could potentially cover the ground.
Although students may be happy that they are out for a three day weekend, they will have to catch up on what they missed come Monday morning.
