(GAINESVILLE GA) Movies with mixed genres of melodrama and horror are rare creations these days. However, new movie about an American zombie apocalypse, “Warm Bodies,” based on Isaac Marion’s novel of the same name, turned out to be an interesting movie with a combination of horror, melodrama and comedy.
“Warm Bodies” is not another scary movie about zombies. Actually, the movie has a warm atmosphere with the hope of a brighter future. Little-known main actors, Nicholas Hoult (R) and Teresa Palmer (Julie), gave the movie even more charm.
As a result of the combination of two very distant genres, the plot turned out quite unusual. The city was attacked with the virus; people who survived and did not turn to zombies live behind the giant wall.
From time to time, groups of people are chosen outside the wall to find, in a post apocalyptic world, the remaining drugs and other necessary things for survival. Such tours into a zombie world are really dangerous. Often, people meet zombies and so-called skeletons that try to eat their brains.
The young man who died and who does not remember his name, only the fact that it began with the letter R, rescues a girl named Julie. The rescue of the girl marked the beginning of the development of this unacceptable, friendship between zombies and humans and gave hope for a brighter future for all.
Overall, “Warm Bodies” is a pleasant, bright and life-asserting movie with an unusual plot and interesting turn of events. Separately, worth noticing the good work of the composers and beautiful list of soundtracks in the movie.
