After All These Years, The Beatles’ Secretary Steps into the Light to Share Her Story

beetles(Gainesville, Ga.) Kelly Freda, former secretary for the Beatles band, has not shared her stories about working with the band until now. Freda worked for the band for more than 10 years. Her career with the band began when she was only 17 years old. At that young age, Freda managed the Beatles appointments, helped them get gigs and handled their fan mail.

Until now, Freda, who is now in her 60s, has never publicly shared the stories and memories she has of The Beatles from her years working with them. Earlier this year, Ryan White approached Freda about a film idea he had. He wanted Freda to share her story of working for The Beatles on film. The film would be a documentary of the Beatles based on Freda’s time with them.

White named the film “Good Ol’ Freda”. “Good Ol’ Freda” is set to premiere at the Southwest Film Festival this year, which will take place in Austin, Texas.

Although none of Freda’s stories will be shared with the public until the premiere, Freda claims she is not trying to expose The Beatles in any kind of bad light. She is only telling the world of the wonderful and positive memories and experiences she had with them.

As the premier of this documentary comes closer, Beatles’ fans grow more and more excited with anticipation of the film.
