Student Activities Board

Brenau’s Student Activities Board is the organization that is responsible for campus-wide events. As a member of SAB’s Executive Board, I have had the pleasure of planning this past year’s events for the campus. SAB has three themed weeks throughout the year including: Fall Kickoff Week; Campus Unity Week; and Say Hello to Spring Week. SAB is also responsible for planning and executing Brenau’s Spring Formal Cotillion.

SAB is also accepting applications for general board positions. General board is made up of Brenau students who would love to contribute to the various committees that are overseen by Executive Board members. If you would love to help plan events for campus and help make flyers and banners to promote the events, please apply.

Applications can be found outside of Lauren Bell’s office in Owens Student Center. The applications are due back to her on September 16th at 5:00 pm. All applicants are encouraged to come to the General Board meeting on Wednesday, September 18th during dinner in the Senior Dining Hall. A decision will be made and applicants will be notified before Wednesday, September 25th, 2013.

About US

We take special pride in The Alchemist. The student ran newspaper was the first publication distributed on the campus of Brenau University. The Alchemist went viral in Fall 2006. It has been over 100 years since the first article was printed, and has since evolved into the prominent platform for students to leave a legacy through their writing.
