(BALTIMORE)  Chief Executive Officer and Founder of T Rose Bridal Shows, Tanya Waltrick, has been a bridal coordinator for over 30 years, but has never thought to host a wedding within the show until now.

“I thought why not give potential brides the opportunity to see a live wedding at the bridal show. This way, we can highlight our vendors and make one special couple very happy,” said Waltrick.

“It started out as a thought and manifested into a real thing. The production had its challenges, but but it was wonderful to see the look on the bride’s face, and that’s what keeps us in business.”

The couple were crowned ‘The Weddings of a Lifetime’ winner and were given a free custom made tuxedo and wedding gown, a wedding planner and officiant, a two-tiered-cake, party favors, a miniature reception, photography, a bridal bouquet, boutonnieres, a make-up artist, two honeymoon packages, and social media exposure.

Waltrick worked in retail in her early 20’s, but decided to come back into the business of wedding because she knew it was her true calling.

“I’ve always like crowds and crowds of people, and when I came back into wedding, my love for it was even deeper.”

To help brides with a head start on their wedding, Waltrick gives away 400 free tickets to attend her bridal shows.

“Our bridal shows are packed every year with vendors from all over the US, and potential brides wanting the latest in trends for their wedding,” said Waltrick

“And we wanted to give them that, we wanted to display something for each bride. So we partnered with some of the hottest vendors to bring about this wedding of a lifetime.”

“It has definitely made us more popular, I can tell you that,” laughed Waltrick.

We don’t see free weddings happening very often, but these days, couples are breaking the bank just to get married, so a free wedding give-away is the least we could do,” said Lauren Hines, platinum sponsor for T Rose Bridal Shows.

Along with a free wedding give-away, Waltrick gave one luck winner $3,080 in prizes. Waltrick and her team calls this a kit and caboodle set. Vendors who were present at the bridal show added to the prize basket. The winner took home a honey moon trip, kitchen gadgets, champagne and wine goblets and restaurant gift certificates.
