The Counterpoint Festival is coming around the corner once again! This phenomenal three-day event will be hosted in Kingston Downs in Rome, Georgia from April 25-27! It’s about two hours away from Brenau’s campus. Not only will this event be packed with amazing experiences, the location makes it even better. It’s on a waterfront-locale with the Appalachian Mountains in the background. This festival is definitely the place to be this spring. fe

Counterpoint collaborated with incredible young contemporary artists and programs. On the site, there will be art installations, an Art Village with merchandise displayed and made available from vendors and artists, and also hands-on arts and crafts to create yourself. Along with the artist aspect of the festival, there are also merchandise stores, a very diverse food court, carnival rides, and a game center. This is a festival with many things to do; you’re guaranteed to have the time of your life!

Of course, this festival wouldn’t be as great as it is without the amazing set list that will be performing amongst its four stages. There will be over sixty bands gracing our presence. Some of the more popular names include OutKast, Foster The People, Pretty Lights, Krewella, Flux Pavilion, Janelle Monae, STS9, and J. Cole.

To enter into this festival, you must be at least eighteen years old. The regular admission price is $180. At first, this may seem like an overwhelming price, but you get to have an amazing experience that lasts three days. It couldn’t get any better than that. You can even camp on the site, which Counterpoint refers to as “glamping.” Counterpoint is probably the most amazing way to almost start off your summer.
