While athletes around the world were competing and breaking records in Russia, these Russian daredevils decided to make some new records of their own. Vadim Makhorov and Vitaly Raskalov achieved something so outstanding, that even watching the video makes you nervous. Makhorov and Raskalov broke into the Shanghai World Financial Center over the Lunar New Moon while the construction workers were away. The Shanghai Tower is a two thousand and seventy-three feet high building. After the completion of this financial center, it will be named the second-tallest building in the world.

This isn’t the first time these two adventurers have sought the heights. Last year, both men climbed the Great Pyramid in Giza, Egypt. They also have experience scaling other skyscrapers, mines, and dams. Both men stated that they were not afraid at all during this pursuit because they are used to doing activities like this frequently.

The video of this incredible achievement is located online. It received twenty-one million views in just one week. Reactions from this video are insane. People that are afraid of heights should proceed with caution before watching. It is very nerve-wracking and intense. The two climbers had a camera strapped onto their heads, giving a perfect view of what they are doing. If climbing this tower wasn’t scary enough, they also did it without any safety gear! Adding all that together, not knowing the outcome, and seeing the exact view they are, gives you an incredible watching experience. I personally cannot believe that two people could perform this task, let alone without any safety equipment. The video is definitely a sight to see.
