5 Ways You Know You’re a Guy at Brenau

October 27, 2015 By Brenau Student Leave a Comment

1.) Obvious Stares

Number one comes as no surprise. That’s what makes it first on the list. Walking around campus you often get awkward stares from your female colleagues. Occasionally, a bold female will walk up to you asking what are you studying and why did you choose to come to Brenau. Although the stares can be weird, they’re always followed with warm smiles.

2.) Slim to None

On the first day of classes you realize that you are the ONLY guy in your class. It ultimately depends on your major and professor. Most likely you’re by yourself surrounded by women in all of your classes, but hey who’s complaining?

3.) Macho Man

Since you’re one of the few guys in the class, you will often get asked to move heavy objects. It’s okay though. This is a great time to show the ladies how strong you are and that you don’t mind a little hard work.

4.) Ghostly Spooks

If you’re a guy at Brenau then more than likely the campus ghost Agnes hasn’t bothered you. Halloween is right around the corner so lucky us, right?

5.) Greek Life

Brenau University does not have any fraternities. The closest way a guy can get to being part of Greek life is by dating a member of a sorority. That would probably help with understanding the traditions and events often held on campus. Guys would be able to jump in the discussions with their fellow classmates. As for now, Greek life is still foreign to me.

6.) Bathroom Anyone?

Because there aren’t many guys on campus, the men’s bathroom isn’t high on the need to know list. As a guy, you either have to wander around until you find one or hope you can find another guy around campus who can give you directions.
