It’s November. That means finals week is approaching faster than we think. The semester is coming to a close, but there are a variety of events Brenau has to offer around campus. Even the most stressful time of the year can be an exciting time of the year.
Her Campus Brenau’s Movie Night Party
Her Campus Brenau, will host their first promotional event in Thurmond McRae on Nov. 17. Take time to unwind during our movie night event! There will be snack, a pajama contest, door prizes and a HUGE giveaway prize!
Thanksgiving Break
FINALLY! We get break from the gag and hopefully a warm cooked meal. Thanksgiving will be here sooner than you know it. We can celebrate the end of the semester while being surrounded by family, friends and food! Although finals week takes place immediately upon our return, be sure to enjoy the time off. A break from studying will help more than you know.
Midnight Breakfast
When we all get back from Thanksgiving break, we go RIGHT into finals week! Although that’s scary, fear not. Brenau treats us to free food at 10:00 p.m. during Midnight Breakfast served by the faculty on November 30. During Midnight Breakfast students are encouraged to enjoy one another while dancing the night away. There’s music, food and raffle prizes. Stay on your toes for Amanda Lammers as she makes it rain with awesome gift cards!
Finals Week
Looking forward to finals week sounds crazy, but think about it. This is the time you get to prove to your professors that you really were paying attention in class (even when you were simultaneously scrolling through Twitter). Bring home grades to show your family that you know your stuff! Most importantly, prove it to yourself. After it’s all over, celebrate that you have another semester of college down!
