It is back by popular demand! We’ll, let’s get real the NBA never goes anywhere. It simply goes from the off season to in season. The regular season has started up again and it will include lot of things that fans are looking forward to. Maybe I’m speaking for everyone when I say “I can’t wait to see how Kevin Durant will help the Warriors this year.” There is no doubt he will give them some offensive help. Even if he doesn’t, I don’t think Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry need much help generating more points. The few games that the Warriors have played have been a sight to see, but will Durant (a surprising trade in the first place) be able to help them win yet another championship. It will be his first ring so heart and passion won’t be something he’ll lack in. Sometimes that isn’t enough, but time will tell. Since we are talking about about stacked teams: the reigning champs, the Cleveland Cavaliers are coming for the title yet again at full force—by force I mean Lebron James. James seems to be getting younger while his high caliber team around him just pick up whatever slack he may be slacking in (though we can’t name much slack). Because of the players at Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavs, it’s hard to say that we might see anyone else in the finals for another consecutive year. There are few other things we should keep my eye on. One of them being will Derrick Rose finally have a healthy season. He is one of the best guards in the league but can’t seem to ever complete a season. Will Russell Westbrook make it back Playoffs without Durant? Will Damian Lillard help Portland reach new heights? Can rookie of the year Buddy Hield, NBA Rookie of the Year favorite, alongside Anthony Davis finally make the Pelicans a threat? Will there be any other new teams in the Playoffs this season? The league is full of questions this year.
