(Gainesville, GA) From November 20-26, is the greatest week within the college football season. Not only is this week known for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, but it is rivalry week for college football! During rivalry week, best friends and family members turn into enemies. Rivalry week takes the adage of house divided to a deeper level. The traditions of rivalry week, especially in college towns, run deep. The entire week schools, towns, and passionate fans are focused on slandering and bashing the opposing fans teams. This year’s rivalry week was like every other. The team and its fans that were predicted to lose or even get trampled on by the opposing team stayed passionate and hopeful that they could pull off an upset for this year’s game, while the teams that were predicted to win kept the hacking and cockiness to a high level.
