(Gainesville, Ga) On Jan. 31 during lunch hours in Yonah lobby, Brenau Student services hosted a leadership fair. Student leader organizations such as Resident Assistants, Orientation Leaders, Peer Assistants, Honor Court, and the Student Government Association (SGA) were present to inform students about student leadership positions. This is first time Brenau has done a leadership fair in the spring. Normally, there is only a organizational showcase in the fall. Student leaders involved in the organizations were present to answer questions about student leader positions, and the process to become a student leader.
President of SGA Chair justice of Honor Court and Resident Assistant Sara Hubashi, was asked how she balances juggling all of those student leadership positions while being a student. Hubashi responded, “Being a Brenau student leader means trying to do your best while setting an example and time management is so key to balance everything.”
The official process to becoming a student leader for the 2017-2018 academic school year will begin this Spring. For more information about becoming a student leader, please contact the Student Services on their website: https://intranet.brenau.edu/student-services/.
