The Fox Theatre Hosts The Phantom of the Opera

April 5, 2017 By sommer stockton Leave a Comment

(Gainesville, GA) From February 22 through March 4, The Fox Theatre held the Broadway musical, The Phantom of the Opera.  It is a reinvention of the original version featuring improved music, a brand new set design, and a brand new cast. Derrick Davis plays that elusive Phantom, Katie Travis plays the enchanting Christine Daae, and the charming Raoul is played by Jordan Craig. The new tour transforms the old, boring set into this intriguing new set, made up of one solid, giant piece with all other sets, like the office, the Phantom’s lair, and opera house, all locked inside the one set.

Why should you go see performances at the Fox Theatre? Be prepared to be amazed! The Fox Theatre is a beautiful theater with amazing performances inside. Because of the crowd size, arrive at the Fox early. People start lining up about an hour to an hour and a half before the performance starts. Arriving early also allows viewers enough time to find their seats and grab souvenirs. Phantom is one of Broadway’s longest-running performances. Stop by the stage door after the show to meet the cast.
