Sommer Stockton is an upcoming senior at Brenau University. She is a mass communications major with a concentration in digital technology and will also be obtaining her women’s leadership certificate.
Sommer first visited Brenau back in first grade for a field trip to see a play. She states “I didn’t choose Brenau; Brenau chose me.” Sommer has since shown her love for Brenau through many different organizations she is apart. She is an International Ambassador, a Resident Assistant, Editor and Chief of The Aurum, a member of Her Campus, a member of Honor Court, a member of Mu Sigma Chi, an Interlibrary Loan Assistant, and the new Student Government President.
Sommer has very little free time but she loves to learn more about Brenau history when she gets a few moments. Her ultimate goal would be to become the historian for Brenau University. Sommers other passions include Harry Potter where she highly supports Team Slytherin and Voldemort.
You can find Sommer on the Brenau website supporting the mass communications department. She has become quite the household name around Brenau. Sommer is in for an amazing ride for her senior but I am sure she won’t disappoint. I know many truly cannot wait to see what becomes of her future.
