From Orange Is The New Black, to Locked Up, to Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons, it is clear that Americans have an affinity for crime-based shows, and media streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu are catering to the wants and needs of the masses. For many, the grittiness and rawness of the hour-long shows, keep many entertained and coming back for more each week. However, for those “inside” those sixty minutes are more like six years and do not come with a remote to change the channel or disconnect from the dysfunction. For inmates at incentivized correctional institutions, it is no walk in the park and the only silver lining for them is defunding private correctional facilities, a five billion sector.

How College Students are handling the stress of COVID-19
Before, Kemp issued a statewide quarantine, many people were already socially distancing and self-quarantining. This is due to many people being aware, before Kemp’s address, that COVID-19 can be spread by asymptomatic people. Now that Kemp has forced non-essential workers to return home it has caused a great deal of stress for college students.
What Once Was Concert Season
Spring and Summer are known for being concert seasons. As school comes to close many people look forward to the concert season because it is time to hang out with friends while listening to your favorite artists. But what once was concert season is now quarantine season. Due to the increasing rates of deaths and infections in the United States, businesses are forced to close, events with large gatherings are canceled and families are asked to stay quarantined for not only weeks but months. This means concerts are postponed. Some of these postponed concerts include Billie Ellish, Cardi B, Coachella, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber, Khalid, Lady Gaga and many more.

On March 27, news articles announced that the first animal had caught the virus. A cat in Belgium that more than likely caught the virus from a human. There is no actual evidence that humans can contract the virus from animals but ever since this news was heard worldwide, people have begun to turn their backs to their furry companions.
