Life after high school can sometimes be complicated and difficult to navigate as the friends you have grown up with over the years go in different directions in life. The road ahead is not always going to be easy as students are tasked with going into this new chapter in their lives.
Being a first year college student has been an adjustment from moving away from home, meeting new people, and differing class schedules. Being a first year college student here at Brenau has been different then what I have initially thought. There is a sense of community on campus, more than I could have never imagined. This is a place filled with tons of people, each coming from different parts of the world and have different stories to tell.
Brenau offers many events catered to students that allows them to engage and network with people in the Gainesville community. Such as Roll Call, an annual Freshman event, Community Connection Day, and most recently the Better Business Bureau that was held at the College of Business and Communication on the Gainesville Historic campus. This was an opportunity for students to learn about the different things offered here on campus and interact with other students that may be majoring in a similar field.
College life is truly what you make it to be. Brenau offers many different programs, Greek life, and clubs. Small class sizes and professors who truly are there for you. Making Brenau feel truly a home away from home.
