Sydney Hencil is an MBA student with a concentration in Communications Management. She has been pursuing her dream of journalism since she posted her first article in 2018 on the HerCampus online magazine. After getting her bachelors in Mass Communications, Sydney went on to be a radio News Anchor and Report for WDUN. Sydney was born in Zimbabwe, came to the USA in 2018 and speaks English and German. Sydney is a multimedia journalist by trade, with experience in directing, producing, institutional research and assessment.

Barbara Carlota Carmona Bloise is an MBA student with a concentration in Communications Management. From a young age Barbara has always been interested in the media industry. She received a bachelor’s in Audiovisual Direction and Production of Radio, Tv, and Film at the University of Panama in 2018 and a masters in Film Production at Full Sail University in 2021. Barbara’s interest in the business side of the industry led her to Brenau. Born in Panama, she speaks Spanish and English. Barbara has experience in broadcasting, directing, production, event planning and digital marketing.

Antoinette Selby

Antoinette Selby is a Freshman majoring in Mass Communications at Brenau University. She is from Harlem, Georgia and has always held an interest in news reporting and broadcasting as a whole that sparked when she decided to take a Journalism class during her last year of high school. Also she is interested in learning more about Brenau and what the city of Gainesville has to offer, especially as this being her first year as a student here. An interesting fact about her is that she enjoys journaling about different things going on in my life without sticking to one way of writing in particular.
