As Election Day grows near, the 2012 presidential candidates have begun to announce their final promises and plans. On the recent Oct. 3 debate, President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney battled it out for America to choose who should be the next President of the U.S.
This debate was crucial for both candidates in order to secure the votes of Americans. With this being one of the three debates scheduled to occur before Election Day, Nov. 6, the victor of this debate will get a good head start. Considering Romney is down in the most recent election poll, this is his time to rise above knowing Obama has a slight lead.
The debate covered topics such as domestic policy, government roles and most importantly the economy. In future debates they will discuss topics like foreign and domestic policies. One of the last debates will be focused on undecided voters.
Needless to say, the upcoming weeks will be full of surprises and promises that Americans will have to analyze for themselves when choosing the next President.
